Living Truth Church – Ft. Lauderdale

What We Believe

The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and living Word, revealing His heart and truth to us. It is our foundation for faith and daily life. (2 Timothy 3:16)

The Trinity
God exists as one being in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, working together in perfect unity. (1 John 5:7)

Salvation
Jesus Christ, through His death and resurrection, offers salvation as a free gift. It is received by faith, not by works, and is available to all who call on His name. (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:9-13)

Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived without sin, was crucified, rose again, and ascended into heaven. He will return for His people. (Isaiah 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

Communion
We observe the Lord’s Supper as a sacred time of reflection and remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. (1 Corinthians 11:23-32)

Fellowship and Worship
We are called to gather as a community of faith, encouraging one another and growing in our relationship with God. (Hebrews 10:25; Proverbs 27:17)

Water Baptism
Baptism by immersion is an outward expression of an inward transformation, symbolizing our identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live out their faith boldly and to share the message of Christ with others. We affirm that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is often evidenced by speaking in tongues, as demonstrated in Acts 2:4. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Galatians 3:14)

Spiritual Gifts
The Holy Spirit equips believers with spiritual gifts to serve God’s people and further His kingdom. (1 Corinthians 12)

Healing
We believe God heals physically, emotionally, and spiritually, working through prayer and faith. (James 5:14-15; Acts 4:30)

Holy Living
A life led by the Spirit reflects holiness, integrity, and a growing relationship with God. (Ephesians 5:8; 2 Corinthians 6:14)

Five-Fold Ministry
God has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip and strengthen the church. (Ephesians 4:11-13)

The Church
The church is the body of Christ, commissioned to share the gospel and demonstrate His love in the world. (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 3:10)

Local Church Governance
Each local church operates under the leadership of a senior pastor and elders, accountable to biblical authority. (Hebrews 13:17; 1 Timothy 3)

Marriage
Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:6)

The Sanctity of Life
Every human life is created in the image of God and is of immeasurable value from conception to natural death. (Genesis 1:27)

Eternal Life
Those who trust in Christ will have eternal life with Him; those who reject Him will face eternal separation. (John 3:16; Revelation 20:15)
